NETWORK IMPLEMENTATION
The Wi-Fi Network comprised the installation of 397 Access Points located in defined coverage areas. All AP’s were provided by Cisco using the models Cisco Aironet 3802, 3802P, 3802E, 2702I, 1572EAC the communication with the central Back Bone infrastructure was supported in 4Gbps Ethernet links. The access to the internet was assured through the installation of two secure 10 GE physical accesses to support the various logical connections. The Wi-Fi network planning and diagnostics tool used was the Ekahau Site Survey PRO with DBX Pro Spectrum Analyzer. Cisco Prime Infrastructure 3.0 was used for the management of the wireless and wired networks.
Design of the proposal implied technological upgrade of core WIFI infrastructure, landing page functionalities, optimization of network platforms, logs and security to support the event. 500 employees were involved in the entire Solution Setup. Local support team in permanent support to the event, crisis room in coordination with the NOC Altice. Operations plan and incidents escalation, 24x7 support and supervision.
